Can this be fixed. I am connected with the thunderbolt cable. Just took it out of the box yesterday and today the line appeared. It looks like others have this problem as well. How come Apple or LG does not mention this in their description of the monitor?

The monitor and MacBook Pro were brand new. It connected fine. The issue was a vertical blue line on the screen. LG offered to repair it for no cost which leads me to believe that know about this issue.
I returned the monitor and got another one and so far no line.
