On Friday a very good tech support explained how I could add my music to my MacBook Air . It worked for a while. On Sunday, I don't know what happened but every time my Mac was downloading a song I was asked to authorize it. When I did authorize it, I got a warning that 4 of my 5 devices were authorized and to reenter my Apple ID and password. I have to do this for every song, this is ridiculous mostly that I am paying a yearly subscription to Apple Music. Why would I have to authorize songs I bought on iTunes anyway.

Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Backup and then delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.
