Dark mode keeps switching to light mode

I've used dark mode since it was released and only recently it keeps switching to light mode randomly. Automatic switching is not turned on.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

I think I figured it out. I installed a Widgy widget and when I thought about it, it started happening around the time I installed it. I removed it yesterday and it hasn't switched back to light mode since.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your iPhone keep switching from Dark Mode to Light Mode.

Does this happen with any certain apps? Some apps may not have a Light Mode version. Do you usually change to Dark Mode from the Control Center or from Settings? Check out Use Dark Mode on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
