Red Exclamation Mark Software update on Apple Watch

I was updating my apple watch because I got a new iPhone and now there is a red exclamation mark that does not go away! I've tried all the troubleshooting instructions, still no luck. It was perfectly fine before I tried installing the update.

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 7

  1. Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds.
  2. When you see the Apple logo, release both buttons.
  3. If you still need help, contact Apple Support
