Recently Deleted Apps appearing in battery usage despite not deleting any applications recently

Hi.

So basically, I have not used or deleted any applications for the last 2 days (I deleted Reddit 3 days ago). But apparently "Recently Deleted Apps" were responsible for draining my battery usage as seen in the images above. What is the cause of this? Is it a software error? Is it a battery problem?

I have restarted my iPhone numerous times to see if this anomaly would go away but it still won't go away.

I am worried that this problem would somehow damage my battery or even worse is a sign of some sort of malware installed on my iPhone (which I am aware is unlikely but I still worry anyways).

If anyone can ease my worries or provide a solution to my problem, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there jarjarbinkos,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand recently deleted apps are draining your battery. Make sure you're running the latest iOS software for your iPhone as this will have many bug fixes for performance. Also, be sure to have the recommended battery tips in place as mentioned in iPhone Battery and Performance.

Regards.
