Call Failed with FaceTime with macOS Monterey version 12.0.1

Everything is configured to make phonecalls with FaceTime via my iPhoneX. It works with High Sierra on my old Mac mini en it works with Big Sur on my new Mac-mini, but not any more with Monterey.

If I initiate a call on MacOS to my home phone, FaceTime immediately gives "Call Failed".

But my homephone starts ringing.

If I accept the call on home phone there is no connection.

Does anybody what is going wrong with Monterey?

The USB connector of my LED Cinema Display was not connected anymore with my Mac mini. So there was no camera and no sound. The monitor contains a USB port multiplexer. So my microphone was disconnected too. Putting the USB connector back on and everything works fine. ☺️
