Problems with apple books

I understand you, hence my previous reply:

When I send a purchased Apple Book there is a link to the Book Store. When sending a free book downloaded from elsewhere then it just shows the title and author’s name, as per your image.

She must be sending you pdfs, because books, free or purchased, cannot be sent from Apple Books on an iPhone and iPad, unless of course there is some way to do it on a Mac.

You can test this by sharing one of her books.

The book you are trying to send is not like that, it is a paid-for book from Apple, and sending that is not allowed, only family sharing as was explained by picas.

Books can’t be emailed. And books can only be shared with family sharing.
