Hello Jjwookie

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities.

Let’s find out what’s causing this behavior when you try to use Safari on your Mac.

To confirm, macOS 12.1 version is the latest update. Is that what you show installed when you go to the Apple menu > About This Mac? Update macOS on Mac

If you are showing updated, try restarting your Mac in safe mode and test Safari. Safe mode will load slower than normal mode, it’s performing checks and balances that are similar to First Aid. How to use safe mode on your Mac will walk you through how to restart and provide more detailed information about safe mode.

After testing Safari in safe mode, if Safari works, restart your Mac and this will the Mac back into normal mode. Test Safari again.

If you still see the message Safari is not connecting to the server, reach back out to us.

Take care!
