Apple TV Guest Mode (AirBnB)

How can I setup a guest user on Apple TV so they can login to each app with their own credentials? If that guest has no Apple ID, will they be prompted to authenticate the guest account with an Apple login/pw?

What you want isn’t supported at this time. You can request it though.

There are no real guest accounts for Apple TV, with features that would apply specifically to ‘guests’. Third party apps may have/need their own account, separate from the active user account (Apple ID). There is no mechanism to be prompted for credentials, if there is an account in use.

Best you can do, is to create accounts specifically for a guest, and change the (strong) passwords after each visit.

Or BYOD type of arrangement, with just internet connectivity offered.

To be more specific- I have a default user account with several active app subscriptions. I setup a new Apple TV account called "Guest" with no subscriptions (and iCloud off). When I toggle to the Guest user in Control Center, all the apps stay the same and are still logged in. I even deleted my default account leaving only Guest user, and all the apps are still there and are logged in. Seems to defeat the purpose of a Guest user account.
