Privacy warning: This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic
Our fiber optic cable was cut by a digger and it resulted in this error message. So it appears that any fault on the line could cause this error. It indicates that the DNS Server (Domain Name Server) is trying to maintain a connection using encrypted hand-shaking messages. When they fail to get an encrypted reply it is interpreted as failure that could have been caused by a hacker. Consequently this warning message is sent.
After the 48 core fiber cable was replaced the issue appears to have been resolved.
It only took the cable company 12 hours to replace this huge cable.
It was not the fault of the digger operator. The cable company came and marked the ground where the copper cable runs but did not mark the fiber optic cable which could not be detected by metal detectors and it does not emit electromagnetic signals.
I thought this information may be helpful for others receiving the same message.
