Call of Duty recently updated on January 17, 2022 and today (a day later) I updated the app. When I tried to Sign In with Apple ID on the login screen it says “please sign into your device with your Apple ID and complete the two factor authentication before attempting to login with “sign in with apple”” I am already signed into my device with my Apple ID and I already have 2af on. Please help I don’t understand what I’m not doing!

We understand you're seeing a prompt in an app, to sign in with your Apple ID on the device, while you're already signed in.
If you haven't yet, try restarting your iPhone normally, and attempting to sign in again: Restart your iPhone
You may also want to check, that Game Center is enabled and the correct Apple ID is signed in there, as outlined here: Use Game Center to play with friends
