Audio Static - tv Movies

I have audio static when playing movies from my library in the tv app.

• Static is technically intermittent, but happens a lot

• Issue occurs on all user accounts

• Issue occurs on both streamed & downloaded movies

• Reinstalled macOS - no change

• Audio from other apps seems fine

• Audio when played through external speakers is fine

• Trailers for the same movies played through tv are fine

MacBook Air 512GB

M1 Chip w/ 8-core CPU, 8 core GPU

Monterey V 12.1

Support wants me to send the device in for service, which I’d rather avoid if possible.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

For future reference:-

Launchpad > Audio MIDI Setup > MacBook Air Speakers > 44,100 Hz > 48,000 Hz

Appears to resolve the issue.
