Every time the Mac goes into sleep mode it crashes, shuts down. This has been happening for the last few days. It also seems to be since updating to 12.1 Monterey.

You can use external drives without the manufacturer's software, your mac can handle them just fine on its own.

So try uninstalling the SanDisk software, and see how things go.

Launchd: /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.wdc.SanDiskPrivilegedHelper.plist

Executable: /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.wdc.SanDiskPrivilegedHelper

Ideally, this should have come with an uninstaller,. If not, we can help you delete it manually.

Q - No Time Machine backup - Time Machine backup not found.

A - A Time Machine Backup  is very useful and can be used to Revert to Previous Working macOS

Q - Unsigned files - There are unsigned software files installed that could be adware and should be reviewed.

A - Review Installed Applications. Etreckeck can remove Adware but will require action on the part of the user

Q - Google Chrome.app

A - A Known Memory Hog especially if the Google Helper is also installed

Q - Unsigned Files:

Launchd: /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.wdc.SanDiskPrivilegedHelper.plist

Executable: /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.wdc.SanDiskPrivilegedHelper

installed 2021-08-12)

[Loaded] com.wdc.SanDiskPrivilegedHelper.plist (? b6a645e5 - installed 2021-07-03)

A - Refer to earlier posting by colleague @ lllaass. If the Drive does not require the Third Party Software to function - contact the Developers for Instruction on removing it.

Q - User Login Items:

A - The Report is reporting there are Eleven Third Party Application set to Launch each time the computer starts from a Cold Boot. If that really required. Only the User ( you ) can determine this requirement

These crashes seem to be associated with the touchbar:

Diagnostics Information (past 7-30 days):

2022-01-19 15:25:57 /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ProxiedDevice-Bridge/ResetCounter-2022-01-19-152557.ips - Crash

2022-01-18 15:33:57 /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ProxiedDevice-Bridge/Retired/ResetCounter-2022-01-18-153357.ips - Crash

Does the timing correspond to the panics?
