555X vs BlackMagic eGPU usage in Applications

Why does my AMD Radeon Pro 555X build in processor still seem to be used, even when my Radeon Pro 580 is installed? The Radeon Pro is getting very little usage....

Ive clicked "prefer external GPU" for my active Apps (chrome and Zoom)...

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

It’s an i9…. And it’s definetly using the GPU just … not very much .

intried it on a 2019 and 2020 Macbook pro w the same effects - little to know usage of gpu during streaming , second monitor , and so on.

so the net effect is I still cannot use my lg ultra fine even w an 8 core intel Mac , in many cases the system just skyrockets cpu usage and throttles -
