How do I count the number of my daily steps usinpg my iwatch

The "Related Article" states:

"On your Apple Watch

1. Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
2. Swipe up to see details for each ring.
3. 
4. Swipe up again to see more, like your total steps, your distance, and workouts.
5. To see your weekly summary, swipe up again, then tap Weekly Summary."

If you want to see the steps on the face of your watch, you would need to get an app that offers a complication that can be added to your favorite watch face. I've used one called StepsApp.
