3G ending March 31

My iPhone 8 Plus has only two options for cellular/Voice & Dara: LTE or 3G. When 3G ends will my phone still work or not? My phone has been updated to iOS 15.2.1.

4G/5G are technical standards. Carriers use those standards under the name they choose ... often LTE. My iPhone8 will continue to work after 3G goes.

You will not need to make any changes to the phone or the SIM.

4G = LTE.

If my settings don’t have the option of 4G will LTE be the new setting for my phone or does my SIM card need to be programmed to 4G?
