iPhone 12 Mini Terrible Voice Call Quality
Has anyone else experienced an issue with their 12 Mini where you either cannot hear the other person talking, or they sound garbled and/robotic? I've tried everything to resolve this, with no luck, including:
- I am using the latest iOS software
- Full diagnostic by an Apple Genius - in theory everything is ok but the issue persists
- Talked to Verizon - the network is good in my area
- Reset network setting - no impact
- Completely reset the phone - no impact
- Swapped SIM cards - no impact
- Tried forcing the phone to only use LTE - no impact
- Turn wi-fi calling on - no impact
Verizon finally replaced my phone with another Mini, but I'm having the same problem. The only work around I've found is to put the phone on airplane mode, re-activate wi-fi, and then I'm able to make clear calls over my home network. So only when I'm off the cellular network can I make calls. Please tell me someone is working on this!
