From our understanding, you want to change the 2 minute reminder for Messages alerts. We can certainly understand your concern and can help provide some insight.
While you can not change the amount of time for the reminder, you can turn it off or change how many times you want to be reminded by going to Settings > Notifications > Messages > Customer Notifications > Repeat Alerts.
