Disable scrolling of operator name in the status bar

When I turn on WIFI calling the operator name gets ”WIFI Calling” appended in the status bar, which overflows the slot and so it scrolls to reveal, like a rotating banner that never stops. It drives me crazy!

Is there any possibility to just turn the scrolling off? I am perfectly fine with truncated text (as opposed to something moving in front of my eyes all the time).

Turning WIFI calling off is not an option because the tower signal at home is very weak.

See the video linked below. The jarring jump in the animation seems to happen only when recording, and much more frequently when screen is unlocked. So there's another little annoying bug for you right there.

The Reduce Motion setting from Accessibility has no effect whatsoever.

A friend with an iPhone 11 on Orange sees the same thing.
