How to avoid email conversations from being truncated in the middle?
--- This is about the default Mail app, on iOS 15.1 (iPhone XS) ---
Sometimes, when a reply contains the original message it doesn’t show all of it and you have to click the See More link at the bottom of the reply. That by itself is perfectly fine. What I find annoying (and oftentimes confusing) however, is that it doesn't omit the bottom part of the email but rather a middle section. Because there is no visual cue of this omission it can be difficult to see where the first message ends and an arbitrary part of another one starts. This is aggravated by the fact that the "see more" link isn't immediately visible because the bottom section of the email thread (sometimes spanning multiple screen lengths of messages) is shown in full, with the link at the bottom. In fact, I've had whole emails collapsed out of sight having me thinking I read the whole thread and missing crucial information as a result.
Is there any way to either truncate the bottom part of emails instead of the middle, or to disable this truncation altogether?
