Updates and apps disappearing

Do all apps disappear or just the preinstalled apps ?I’m worried about my crypto MetaMask disappearing when I update .

Preloaded apps not showing on my App Store app Previously my App Store app would show on the updated page preloaded apps to be updated up top and the others below. now when I go in I only see apps to be updated. Do apps that have been updated only show for a time and disappear or is this a real issue?

There should be NO apps disappearing when you update your iPhone.
