Some sites may require you to allow Cross sites tracking and allow cookies.

When you visit these sites allow cookies and disable "Prevent cross-site tracking".

Safari > Preferences >Website tracking > Privacy

https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/privacy-sfri35610/mac

Check it after using the sites.

There are going to be some sites which Safari is unable to properly connect to. Sometimes the solution is to upgrade Safari by upgrading the computer's operating system, but that will not always work. Then the solution is to download and install another browser such as Firefox which will usually work just fine. Also, these browsers can be individually upgraded, which Safari cannot be.
