Hi all,
I have been comparing my 2018 Macbook pro (15 inches) speakers with the new M1 Macbook pro 14 and to my surprise and disappointment, my older MacBook fared better. It was definitely louder than the new. Is anyone else facing the issue ?- would be nice to know if it's only my system because if it is so, I can still get it exchanged.

I think it's not the issue, however it's the default sound quality.
You'd better listen to the music by headphone or earphone.

Thanks for the response. I did and I still felt the same. I felt the new system was better when compared with M1 Air (at the store) but not with the Intel Macbook Pro15, 2018. It is not about the clarity, it is about how loud the audio is, especially when it has 6 speakers...It does not feel that way. That is why I am a little concerned.
