If you recently redeemed a gift card or added funds to your Apple ID from a debit or credit card and have not used said funds you can request the money be returned to the gift card or a refund to the payment method used to add funds. You can only send it to your bank account if a debit card was used to add those funds.
If the balance from the gift card or added funds has been partially used, it cannot be returned.
