I forgot my Apple ID password?
so I forgot my Apple ID password. Trying to change it, but it keeps asking for my passcode. I have entered it in like 5 times, still keeps coming back to the same screen. Why is that?

See if anything here helps. Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
