How can I read my Mail messages in full screen, landscape mode?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. You are trying to hide the sidebar with your inbox as you read email messages in landscape mode on your iPad. Right?
This is not a current option in landscape mode. Options for viewing email on iPad can be found in Check your email in Mail on iPad.
You can also send feedback to Apple if this is something you would like to see change in upcoming iPadOS updates - Product Feedback - Apple.
