Wiping an iMac - how will that affect data on other Apple devices?

I. need to wipe my old iMac before recycling it. How will that affect photos and music that are also on my MacBook, iPad and iPhone?

It won’t unless you specifically open the Photos app and delete a photo, or open the Music app and delete a song, because the computer is being wiped.

Your data is fine.
