If you're still trying to figure out where the delete function is on the new MacBook Pro 2021

It's so simple yet no one seems to talk about it. I found it by experiencing.

So if you want to delete let's say a file, you have to hold command key and then press the backspace key.


That's it! You've made it! Congrats!

One of the major benefits of the Mac has been its Graphical User Interface. Once you know how to operate one program on a Mac, you know almost all of how to operate every program on a Mac. and you can poke around looking at menu options until you find what you need.


Using the Graphical User Interface, you can always drag any icon to the Trash can. That always works. But it may not be as speedy as you would like.


What you are talking about is how you can speed up deleting things using shortcuts. I second John Galt's sentiment --


"Use whatever suits your personal workflow. Enjoy your Mac."
