How do I unlock (reset) my son’s iPhone when he forgot his password and has accidentally now locked himself out of his phone?!

If it had been updated to iOS 15.2.1 there would be a way to fix it without a computer, but not if it is on iOS 14.
You connect to a pc or Mac.
Why can’t you help me reset my son’s phone without us having access to a computer? We even went into your store and your genius Reps were useless!
