I just received my new 16 inch mac book max and when I run my 3 month Apple TV plus trial the audio has a lot of static on my Mac. It sounds terrible and I'm worried about the damage it may cause to my speakers. All other apps run fine on my computer such as amazon, Netflix, Disney plus and so forth so I know its an apple problem

To narrow this down, do you have a pair of headphones available? If so, test out the audio from that same app with headphones. How does that work?
Also, you could try testing this in a newly-created administrator account to determine if the issue is system-wide or user account-specific. Here's how to Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac. Once you create the account, sign in there to see if the same thing happens, and let us know the results.
