can you transfer your music from an iPod nano to an iPod touch 7th generation?
Not directly, no. But since the only way to get music onto an iPod nano is through iTunes, then all your music should still be in your iTunes Library. So you can add music to your iPod Touch from iTunes.
If your computer is a Mac, running OS Catalina or later, iTunes is not used. Instead, you use Finder to copy music from the computer to any iPod.
If all of your music was purchased from the iTunes Store, downloaded to your iTunes Library and then copied from the library to the nano, you can sign into your iTunes Store account on the iPod Touch and you should be able to download the purchases directly from the store. Note that this only applies to purchases from the iTunes Store. Any music from other online stores, websites or from CDs, will not be downloadable from the iTunes Store.
