Installing Rosetta was easy using Terminal. Finding it to activate it was the problem. Finally one of the 3rd party plug-ins I wanted to use, instructed me to "right click" logic pro in my app folder and "get info" where there is a box you can check to "open with Rosetta". Thank you Sonible by Focusrite for giving me the answer that 3 Mac specialists and hrs of searching could not.
