Alarm disables

I have the Yoctoville alarm and the notification keeps turning itself off. I have had this alarm for years and being elderly find it difficult to try a new one as this has everything I need.

I enable the notification and it will work. But the next and following reminders the sound is turned of. A message comes up to go to settings and enable the notification again. So I repeat the action again and again. I am completely lost without this alarm and would love know the solution to this problem.
