Google suspicious activity captcha iPhone

After trying everything from resetting iPhone to clearing safari data to browsing in non private mode and every other suggestion on these forums, I figured it out

the iPhone feature “hide IP address” under “safari — privacy and security “ is what is causing it . I toggled it off and immediately Google stop displaying the suspicious activity screen and captcha.
