iTunes songs to Media Player
Whats going on? My recent songs (last 6 months about) I bought from iTunes will not play on Windows Media Player, I have to have a copy on my desktop for it to stay in Media Player??

Do the songs play correctly in iTunes? Occasionally new iTunes downloads will act as if they have DRM, but still won't play on an authorised computer. The answer there is to delete and redownload. See also Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows - Apple Community.

Hhmm, where did you move it to, or did you delete the songs? If you have moved them, you probably need to tell WMP where you've moved them to. That's exactly what you would have to do with iTunes.
Followed this and checked and unchecked what it said, restarted the PC, added the desktop songs into MP again then deleted the desktop icons then tried to play songs from MP and…
same error, WMP cannot find the file…
No, I never needed to because the 100+ songs I have bought from them throughout the years automatically appeared in Media Player.
