Unread badge count on multiple apps

Hi, I have just changed from an IPhone 8 to the iPhone SE. I cannot get the WhatsApp/outlook or mail app to show the unread message count. Have reset notifications, turned badges on and off, and ensured all apps are updated. Help!!

Whatsapp Badge Disappears When Unread Messages Still Remain This has been asked before but never resolved. It may be a Whatsapp or Apple problem, of course. Is there a way to keep the Whatsapp badge showing on the Whatsapp icon on an iphone when you've opened messages from one chat but there are still messages unread from other chats? Having read messages in one chat, I don't necessarily want to read other chats' messages right then, but I would like the badge count of other unread messages to remain as a reminder. Thanks. Mail Badge I just got an iPhone 14 and I do not see the red badge on the home screen to tell me how many unread emails there are. Other advice said Settings -- Notifications -- Mail -- be sure badge is on, but I don't have that as an option. I can see badges on other apps, just not Mail, but when I click into the Mail app, the unread emails are there.

Missing text messages I get my notifications for text messages on my Lock Screen & open phone-see the badge by text app saying there’s a message, but when I open app the message isn’t there & if I close the app, the badge disappears Sometimes I’ll get the message a few hours later & sometimes it never comes through (a few times I found them on my iPad-but not on my iPhone XR)

WhatsApp is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or WhatsApp FAQ Or Restoring your chat history - WhatsApp FAQ or Contact WhatsApp

Thanks, I know it is not an apply product but the mail app of apple is and also there can’t get a badge count
