You have an iPhone 6. It has only 1 GB RAM. Versions of iOS higher than 12 require 2 GB or more RAM. So your 8 year old phone cannot be updated.

If your phone has 12.5.5 it cannot be updated further. It is either a 5S or a 6 and is too old to be updated.

But you cannot update an iPhone 6 to iOS 13, you cannot update an iPhone 6 to iOS 14, and you cannot update an iPhone 6 to iOS 15. You cannot update it at all if it currently has 12.5.5
