Hi,
I've been having some issue with my iPhone whereby the location is off by more than 50 feet. My phone is unable to accurately tell where we are, therefore maps keeps rerouting.
I've fixed it now a couple time by rebooting my phone, however the issue keeps coming back. Is there a permanent solution to this?

Apps that utilize Location Services offer an approximate location, rather than an exact one, based on several factors, which are explained in the "How your device uses Location Services" section of About privacy and Location Services in iOS and iPadOS. In that section, it mentions that if a precise location cannot be determined, you'll instead see a blue circle. Is this what you see in Maps when you use it, or do you just notice the inaccuracy due to the alternate routes being created? Have you done any troubleshooting on your own to try and solve this other than restarting the device?

Thanks for the response. I'm not seeing the blue circle, which I have seen in other apps where precise location is turned off. This looks more like the phone is interpreting the location several feet off. I'm not sure in what cardinal direction the issue is.
I did check that precise location was on for both Maps and Google Maps. The issue replicated on both apps. I haven't tried anything else at the moment.

The issue with Wi-Fi is that location services includes checking Wi-Fi locations, which are checked against a database that’s manually entered with the location. The locations can be mapped incorrectly or a Wi-Fi station moved without updating the database. It’s typically very accurate.
Something similar was discussed here, and the OP seems to have discovered a possible fix, although it may not be exactly the same issue as your device. Do you have Wi-Fi turned on?
I haven't tried turning off Wi-Fi. I'll try that next time the issue appears. Thanks!
