my Screen sometimes jumps to super close up and I can not return it back to normal font size to see my clock or any apps. I try with my two fingers or double tap to no avail. I hold the side button to try to shut it off but can not get past the SOS screen.

I have had this a lot and not only on my series 7 but 6 as well.
Just press both side buttons at the same time. Not long enough for it to factory reset but just long enough for screen to go black. It will come back proper size then.
mine happens maybe once or twice a week so no real problem to me.

This is because you have enabled Zoom in your Apple Watch App > Accessibility > Zoom
Turn Zoom off and it will never happen again.
Thanks. Replied to poster and having then read your post article I have turned off zoom on iPhone watch app so I will not have the problem again
My watch will often expand the screen and I can not return it to normal full screen (I see a huge 7 on my click face). I can not turn off my iPhone as it will not go off the SOS screen.
