How do I remove an alias email linked to my account?

1. Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
2. Click Edit in the Account section.
3. To delete one of your additional email addresses, click  next to the address.

Go to the page you posted a link to and then sign in. Then select Personal Information on the left side. Then click on Reachable At. You should be able to remove the address if there is a minus sign in a circle on the right side.

I have the same problem, the email address do not have a minus in a circle next to them, just a question mark which when I hover over it says 'this is an alias email address' How do I remove them?

1. Yes, that article says "Click Edit in the Account section." But there is no "Account section", there is no "edit" on the Apple ID account page.

they are not my email addresses and I am no longer linked to the person they are for

I see no valid reason why they shouldn’t be allowed to be deleted
