adobe acrobat and new macbook pro

HI: I splurged for a new Macbook pro, and so far, it has been a disappointment. It does NOT surf the web nearly as well as my "old reliable". THAT IS NOT WHY I WRITE.

THE PROBLEM: I can not activate my ADOBE ACROBAT. I purchased an entirely new ADOBE ACROBAT 2020 MAC. Downloaded it. Registered the serial number with Adobe. ALL TO NO AVAIL!!!!

When I try to use the product for which I paid hard-earned money, the "adobe acrobat activation manager" will NOT load.

I get this stupid blank box. SO What to do? NO ONE FROM ADOBE seems to care. Trust me, I plan to persist until I get better options. This is ridiculous. QUESTIONS:

  1. Is anyone else experiencing difficulty with "activation" with a new MAC BOOK PRO?
  2. Anyone have success with another PDF-option?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

HI: I spent nearly an hour on the phone with Adobe this morning. So: basically, my issue was that Adobe Acrobat 2020 would not "activate" on my new MacBook Pro with the new chip.

The Adobe tech person had me install a download for Adobe Creative cloud, and he did some other tinkering -- and finally: the activation page loaded -- so that I can activate my software -- and actually use it.

Hopefully, this helps someone else
