whenever i try to download a photo or video from iCloud to edit it or se d ir it takes forever, a 13 seconds video took over 15 minutes to download, I’m connected to a very fast wifi connection and the problem happens on my iPad too. I tried downloading a similar video with the same iPhone but from google drive and it downloaded in seconds while downloading from iCloud takes forever
Same for me. I’m paying for 2TB at a premium price and it’s basically unusable. I have a super fast internet connection. It shouldn’t take hours 2 download a 4GB file. This is not a very “Appely” experience.

Two Thoughts:
A. Use a Computer, Instead:
Perform this download using a computer, as it would be more user friendly doing so.
B. Download Directly from iCloud.com:
Using the Photos app? Go here and see if you can download it directly from iCloud, rather than the Photos app: https://www.icloud.com/photos
iCloud downloads are super slow
