iPhone side buttons don't respond when locked
a locked iphone does not respond to the hit volulme up button, hit volume down button, and hold lhe side button to shut down. Are there any other ways to shut it down.

The trick is to perform volume up, volume down, power button within a fraction of a second apart.
The sequence:
- Press volume up (quickly)
- Press volume down (quickly)
- Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo ( ) appears
