Why are iOS apps trying to access my contacts in my contact list?

When reviewing my ‘App Privacy Report’ and ‘Data & Sensor Access’, it’s stated that my Photo and Health applications have requested access to my Contacts.

I have all functions of the Health application disabled (I’d delete this application but iOS won’t allow it).

I have all sharing and access permissions turned off for all applications where possible including for Siri (both in ‘Siri & Search’ and all applications).

Why are the Health and Photo applications requesting and accessing my Contact list?

For what purpose are these applications accessing my Contact list?

How do I stop Apple and iOS from First Party access to irrelevant data and information from its other applications?

How do I restrict the invasive access of information irrelevant for the functionality of iOS applications?

Thankyou @SravanKrA.

I was unaware about the storage location of my contacts.

That said however, that does not explain why iOS applications such as Photos and Health are accessing my Contacts list!

For what possible reason do these iOS applications require my contact’s information?

And how do I stop such iOS applications (and similar) requiring access to my Contacts list?!

Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

If Contacts on iCloud, try this --> Restore contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and more using ...

Else add the email account that stores your contacts.
