AirPods Showing in other’s Find My

i have had my AirPod Pro’s for about 2 years. Once I connected them to my phone, I never had an issue with them automatically connecting when I placed them in my ears. The other day, they just would not connect at all. It took me many tries and a soft reset and they eventually connected but in settings, instead of saying “AirPod pro”, it says “AirPod pro-Find my” and it won’t automatically connect. I have to open my case and click “connect” when it pops up on the screen. On top of that, every time I open the case, my family gets a notification that the AirPods have been found or “AirPods have been traveling with you for a while.” Mind you, they do not even share the same Apple ID as me. My kids all have separate ones and my husband has his own. I find this weird and am now wondering if my neighbor’s with iPhones are getting notifications too. Please help!

Excellent! That means all is genuine.

A Glitch in Apple's User Database?

That being so, I would contact Apple Support, asking them if there is a glitch in their user database. It should not be going across multiple accounts.

Apple Contact Info:

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
