What is "Tizi" and why can't I subscribe to programming on my Mac through AppleTV? It keeps asking me to select a device, but a Mac isn't an option. It all revolves around 'Tizi'. WTH is that all about? Everything looks like it's in German... I downloaded AppleTV from the App Store.
Tizi is a German brand of electronic devices.
Sounds like you downloaded a 3rd party app that works with the Tizi streaming devices. Nothing to do with Apple.
Apple's own TV App is installed with macOS Catalina or later, cannot be removed and as such there is no option to download it from the App Store.
Whatever it is you downloaded is not from Apple. If you have High Sierra, there is no Apple TV App for it.
You can access some of the Apple TV+ subscription service content on the https://tv.apple.com website however.

Thanks! Yes, an app from the AppStore! After disposing of it, I did a search and found and opened it. (It didn't show up in my apps folder.) All good now! Thanks!
