cherokee keyboard lower case

Using the Cherokee-Nation keyboard on my Mac, it only types Roman letters. I only have access to upper case functions. I have tried to troubleshoot with what was available, uninstall and re-install, but still it only works with upper case on my Mac. I have no problem with the keyboard on my phone.

As I was typing out the syllables I thought were missing, I figured out it was my misunderstanding--to access the other set of syllables, caps lock has to be on AND press shift+key. The English being included confused me at first and made me think it wasn't working. Now, I understand it is a handy tool with your help. ᏩᏙ (thank you)
