i get cannot verify server and cannot send emails - i used to be able send emails just fine from my phone

I have been unable to send email from my mail app since I had my software update to macOS Monterey. How can I get this to work again? My mail provider and info is correct, yet I cannot send out email. I am receiving mail, but when I manually add everything back online to each individual mailbox the program then automatically takes them all back offline. I have been trying to work on this 2 days now. I really need help with this.
