Is there some way to set this up so it doesn’t repeat? I find it just keeps repeating until I press the stop notification on my iPad.

That is how it works, it's an alarm. It will stop when you snooze or stop it. Just like when your car/home/business alarms goes off, it doesn't stop until it is disabled.

I have found a brilliant app that does play only one song and only once it’s called Reminder, “Reminders with voice” - alarm calendar remind me app from the App Store on iPhone the first three are free and then it’s $3.99 out right it’s brilliant
So, I guess I need to set up my daily song a different way - any ideas?
