How to update iPhone 6 plus to iOS 15?

In the Apple website, many devices (e.g. Home Pod mini or iWatch) are presented as compatible with iPhone 6 Plus, if it is updated to "last operating system".

The last operating system is IOS 15, but this OS is not compatible with iPhone 6 Plus, so my iPhone is stopped at IOS 12.5.5.

What can I do? Is iPhone 6 Plus updatable to ISO 15 or not? Is this an information mistake in the website?

Thank you very much for your response.

Are you certain the website says “iPhone 6 plus”? Might it actually say “iPhone 6S”? These are two very different things.

The iPhone 6S, introduced a year after the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+, can actually run iOS 15.
